How to use an Oil Burner to diffuse essential oils

Burning essential oils is a low-tech and inexpensive way to add beautiful aromas to your home. However, not all oils are the same so you must take care in choosing the oils to burn.. If used properly and safely, burning essential oils can help you create an aromatic and therapeutic environment

Essential Oils are different to Fragrance Oils. Essential Oils have an aromatherapy benefit such a relaxing Lavender. However, Fragrance Oils have no theraputic value and are often artificially produced.

Position the Oil Burner on a stable platform making sure it will not get knocked over.

Add water to the top of the burner to fill the well. Then, add several drops of oil. The more oil you use, the stronger the fragrance though it will not necessarily last longer.

Insert a good quality tlight into the burner having lit it first.

That’s it!. Enjoy the beautiful fragrance.

    Jasmine Oil 10ml

Jasmine Oil comes from Egypt and is extracted from the concrete made from the flowers.

In terms of how the oil helps us physically, it is an analgesic, antispasmodic, an aphrodisiac, calmative and a uterine tonic.

Also, it is non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses.

In India, Jasmine is referred to as ‘Queen of the night’ due to it’s scent being stronger after sunset.

In addition, we associate Jasmine with the Sacral and Base Chakra and the Chinese Elements Fire and Water

Jasmine Absolute is extracted by alcohol extraction from a ‘concrete’ made with the flowers of the plant, picked by hand, only in the evening. This process is what makes Jasmine so costly. The Jasmine used in this product is 100% pure and natural.

    Clary Sage Oil 10ml

The best Clary Sage comes from Russia, which is by far the most important producer. France, however, often plays a significant role in distribution. It is very uplifting and due to its antispasmodic properties, can be very soothing for menstrual pain and muscular stiffness.

The oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops and leaves and is Analgesic, Antispasmodic, Calmative, Neurotonic, Uterine tonic.

It is Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses and relates to the Base & Sacral Chakra

Clary Sage is a herb which grows up to 120cm in height. It has white flowers which vary in colour from pale blue or lavender pink.

The pungent, herbaceous aroma of Clary Sage has a strongly uplifting yet soothing effect on the mind. In times of worry, try soaking in a warm bath containing 2 drops of Clary Sage, 2 drops of Geranium and 3 drops of Lavender, all diluted in a teaspoon of Peach Kernel oil.

An excellent relaxing massage oil can be made by blending 1 drop of Clary Sage, 1 drop of Roman Chamomile and 2 drops of Sandalwood in 10ml of Sweet Almond oil.
