The main centre of Lavender comes from the Latin lavare (to wash), for its cleansing and purifying properties. In addition, it has relaxing properties that help spiritual healing, release personal blockages and attract positive energies, by providing openness, purification and spiritual connection. Also, Sahumo is a word that translates as fragrance.

When burning any smudging product, always burn over a plate or an Abalone Shell to protect from hot ash.

Sagrada Madre
Sagrada Madre means ‘Holy Mother’, Pancha Mama, and this name refers to how they handle the resources of our Earth. For harvesting Palo Santo, Sagrada Madre uses only the older branches that have naturally fallen from the tree. Also, they work directly with indigenous communities in Peru and Argentina to plant Palo Santo trees and combat deforestation. Sagrada Madre also takes care to plant more trees than they consume.

Lastly, in order to have the smallest possible impact on the environment, Sagrada Madre carefully pack all incense varieties in attractive, natural packaging material.
