Gratitude is when you feel thankful for the good things in your life. This could be stuff people often take for granted, like having a place to live, food, clean water, friends, and family. Gratitude is taking a moment to reflect on how lucky you are when something good happens, whether it’s small or big.
Peppermint has a light, refreshing and a clear minty aroma. This oil is especially good for digestive problems and to refresh a tired mind, hence great for concentration and study.
In the manufacturing it is steam distilled from the leaves of the herb. It is analgesic, antibacterial, anticatarrhal, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, a digestive stimulant and an insect repellent. However, Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use on childern under the age of 5.
Avoid using on people with epilepsy, heart disease or fever. Do not use at more than 2% dilution on the skin or mucous membrane areas. Finally do not apply more than 1ml per 24 hours.
Mice and rats dislike the smell of peppermint so sprinkled on runs can act as a useful deterrent.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil comes from a bushy evergreen that grows up to 18 meters in height. It has a thick bark with leathery leaves, white berries and small yellow flowers.
It has a high level of Eugenol (80-90%) which may cause skin irritation, especially in baths. As a result it is sold only for use in a burner or diffuser.
Cinnamon has a warming and spicy aroma which blends wonderfully with the citrus oils and other spices such as Clove or Nutmeg. To create the perfect atmosphere over the festive season blend 1 drop of Cinnamon Leaf, 1 drop of Clove Bud and 3 drops of Mandarin in a burner or diffuser.
Lift your spirits if you are feeling under the weather try 1 drop of Cinnamon Leaf, 2 drops of Ylang Ylang and 2 drops of Sweet Orange and use in a diffuser.

Geranium Bourbon has a delightful, fresh, green, rose-like scent and is an excellent balancing oil for all-round use. It is especially popular with women.
It is steam distilled from Geranium plant leaves.
We consider Geranium Bourbon to be the finest type of Geranium. It comes from the island of La Réunion, 500 miles east of Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean. As a result, the island has the ideal climate and soil conditions for production of geranium.
Pelargonium graveolens has a clear to light green colour. Do not confuse it with the household variety of geranium, which is a completely different species. It is a greenish coloured oil, with a very strong, well-balanced odour. The difference between this oil and the Egyptian or Chinese is so significant that Absolute Aromas also stocks an Egyptian Geranium.
Geranium blends very well with the citrus oils. It is deodorising, cleansing and uplifting as well as having good insect-repellent properties. The odour of the Bourbon Geranium is quite powerful and it may dominate over other oils in a blend.
Blend 1 drop of Geranium with 2 drops of Lavender and 2 drops of Mandarin in a teaspoon of Sweet Almond oil for use as a relaxing, refreshing bath oil.
Alternatively, blend the same oils with two teaspoons of Peach Kernel oil for a special hydrating body moisturiser with a delicious aroma.
After a long haul flight, try blending together 2 drops of Geranium, 1 Drop each of Juniper and Lavender in 10 ml of Peach Kernel; massage in to the ankles to encourage elimination.

Patchouli Oil is an earthy-sweet, musky and soothing aroma good for relaxation. It is an aphrodisiac and is one of the few essential oils that will improve with age. In addition, it benefits the skin as it promotes tissue repair and has anti-infectious properties..
In manufacturing they steam distilled from the dried leaves of the bushy herb. It is antibacterial, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, a digestive stimulant, an immune tonic and an aphrodisiac. Patchouli is also non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses.
Associated with the Base, Sacral & Heart Chakras.
The distinctive aroma of Patchouli makes it familiar to many people. This may explain its popularity in perfumes and skincare products.
