How to use an Oil Burner to diffuse essential oils

Burning essential oils is a low-tech and inexpensive way to add beautiful aromas to your home. However, not all oils are the same so you maust take care in choosing the oils to burn.. If used properly and safely, burning essential oils can help you create an aromatic and therapeutic environment

Essential Oils are different to Fragrance Oils. Essential Oils have an aromatherapy benefit such a relaxing Lavender. However, Fragrance Oils have no theraputic value and are often artificially produced.

Position the Oil Burner on a stable platform making sure it will not get knocked over.

Add water to the top of the burner to fill the well. Then, add several drops of oil. The more oil you use, the stronger the fragrance though it will not necessarily last longer.

Insert a good quality tlight into the burner having lit it first.

That’s it!. Enjoy the beautiful fragrance.

How to use an Oil Burner to warm Wax Melts

Wax melts are very easy to use. You simply take your wax melt and place one or more in your warmer or melter.  Then light your tea light or turn on your heat warmer if it is electric. When you are finished using them, you just turn off or remove the heat source and the wax will solidify until you are ready to use it again. When you are ready to use it again, just turn the warmer back on or light the tea light.

When you are ready to dispose of the used wax melts, you just allow the wax to harden, then just allow it to heat for a few minutes to loosen it and it should pop right out.

    Frankincense Oil 10ml

Frankincense has a resinous, woody aroma and is considered by many diverse cultures as the most spiritual and prized of all essential oils.

Its classic use is for prayer or meditation as well as in skincare preparations and was frequently used in the embalming process by the Egyptians. It has a wonderful ability to still the mind.

The Frankincense, or Olibanum, is a small tree which grows to a height of up to 7 meters. It has narrow leaves and pale pink or white flowers.

The East African origin refers mainly to Somalian resin, but some of it also comes out of Kenya. Olibanum comes from the bark of the boswellia species, which is prompted to exude resin when incisions are made in the bark. This oil is steam distilled in France from top quality resin. European distillation allows better control over production than oils distilled at source.

    Cedarwood Atlas Oil 10ml

Cedarwood Atlas Oil comes from Morocco and is distilled from sawdust or chopped waste wood.

The name Cedrus originates from the Arabic word Kedron which means ‘Power.’

In terms of how the oil helps us physically, it is antirheumatic, calmative, antiparasitic, anticatarrhal,  a lymphatic decongestant, antiseptic, and an astringent.

Also, it is non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses.

In addition, we associate Cedarwood with the Base or Root Chakra and the Chinese Element Water.

The Cedarwood is a large evergreen conifer that grows to a height of up to 50 meters. It has needle like leaves and brown cones.

Moreover, cedarwood’s anti-septic, deodorising and insect-repellent properties make it a very useful oil for burning or diffusing.
