Place the incense on or in a suitable container such as a Jali Box or use an ash catcher.
Light the end of the incense until it catches. You can then blow it out so that it smolders.
Place the incense in a suitable ventilated area making sure to keep it away from flammable materials. The stick will burn furniture or curtains if they come in contact with it.
The ash form the incense stick can cause discolouration so be careful to place the incense so that the ash falls safely.

The Californian White Sage Small is a small bundle of dried sage. We use it to clear energy from a space so that we can get rid of negative energy. Also, it is useful when we move into a space that we want to make our own. First we need to remove the energy of the people who were there before.
Light the Sage and let it smoulder as you walk around the space. Let the smoke rise into all corners of the space. Relight as required and when you are finished simply let it go out. There is no need to extinguish.
