An angel is a supernatural being in various religions. When we study angels it is known as angelology. Also, Angels are part of all of the world’s major religions. The only figures that we can say that about.
Abrahamic religions often depict them as benevolent celestial intermediaries between God (or Heaven) and humanity. Other roles include protectors and guides for humans, and servants of God. Abrahamic religions describe angelic hierarchies, which vary by sect and religion. Some angels have specific names (such as Gabriel or Michael) or titles . In addition, we call those expelled from Heaven fallen angels, as distinct from the heavenly host.
In greek mythology Angelos was a daughter of Zeus and held influence over the world of the dead. When we see angels in art, they are usually shaped like humans of extraordinary beauty. Also, we often see them in Christian artwork with bird wings, halos, and divine light.
