A small family business in Rajasthan make this product. You are ensuring people in rural villages have fairly paid work that would have otherwise been difficult to find.

The khadda paper used in the products is handmade using recycled cotton leftover from the massive garment industry in India. The paper is made by a charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages.

In addition, the leather used for the covers is a byproduct of the meat industry. The manufacturers tan the leather using natural dyes.
